Johore's the only place for a weekend vacation if you need to be back for church on SundaySo on teacher's day, where the whole world spends their time slaving over homework as a mark of respect for the nurturers and guides of tomorrow's leaders, we troop of to Johore for, well, fun!
It's a great place, really.

Food's really good and reasonable, if you go there you should really try the seafood because in our tiny pimple-of-an-island-on-the-face-of-the-earth Singapore the only thing we catch are puny shrimp and ikan bilis. But over here, everything's mammoth, crabs especially. Oh, and the D24 durians. Hey, they sell durians by the durian, not by the packet with clingwrap bound around and hawked by the loud-yelling uncle.

You can swim too! We swam a lot at the resort, and as my mother says, 'Home pool don't want to use, must come here to swim harh?'

Or you can bowl. Not that I really know how to bowl, but there's always a first time, or first gutter, for everything right?
Bowling, as I have realised today, it's a lot about concentration. As well as about germs and bacteria in the finger-holes of those free-for-all bowling balls, and stinky rented shoes.
And you can also watch TV!
Woah! Channel 8 also got!And you can blow bubble gum, and wonder why we never get to do that in Singapore...

Darryl's the only one among us who can blow a proper bubble, and he's very proud of it.
And last but not least, you can SHOP!

We went to some new shopping complex (it's a complex cause it's huge!) recommended by Amelia (thanks, girl!) called Terbrau City I think. Something like that.
The sales there were REALLY GOOD. No, really, really good. And they have esprit mango topshop elle guess levis dorothy perkins there! All under one roof! So yeah I bought a lot of stuff *girlish giggles*.
So yeah, remember, go to Johore!
Malaysia, truly Asia!
Yeargh, I sound like those cheesy travel agency tour girls.
Oh yeah, and while in Johore I learnt a new game! It's some two lies and one truth game, where someone tells two lies and one truth, and you have to guess the truth!
So guess this!
Story 1: Once when we were in IKEA about three years back, we saw Jaime Yeo (the DJ) shopping for carpets.
Story 2: I love eating olives on pizzas, but the smell of olives on their own gives me a headache.
Story 3: I used to love Mary Kate and Ashley books a lot, so once when we were moving house my mum and I went to Popular and I bought a whole lot of Mary Kate and Ashley books, and I read them all on the first day.
So guess! Which one is the truth, and which two others are plain in-your-face lies?
